LARRY KUDLOW: The Biden-Harris administration lied more than any other
More lies and smears from Biden-Harris. That’s the title of “The Riff.”
Out of respect for the presidency — and having served two of them — I take no pleasure in laying this case: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have lied more than any administration I can think of.
In recent years, I have tried to describe this as cognitive dissonance, or “the lie.” But the plain truth is that they continue to lie.
BIDEN-HARRIS MEDICARE CUTS HARM SENIORS WITH LOSS OF PROTECTION, PREMIUM TRAVEL: FORMER CONGRESSWOMAN
Just yesterday, for example, President Biden and his press secretary tried to lie that “the only garbage I see floating around is his supporters.”
The press office tried to refute this quote by sticking an apostrophe after the fans, suggesting that he was only talking about comedians, rather than the 80 million people who voted for Donald Trump.
But you can’t get away from lies like this in the Information Age.
Official White House secretaries quickly denied a false redaction of an official document that would, at some point, make its way into the National Archives. The chief of stenographers called it “a breach of protocol and a breakdown in the integrity of the text between the Stenography and Press Offices.”
Well, I would say that it is actually a breach of integrity of Mr. Biden. Here he is again.
Another big lie yesterday came from billionaire Kamala who acted as Mark Cuban, saying: “You will never see Trump around strong, intelligent women, ever” – a stupid lie from Cuba, but so far neither Biden nor Harris have contradicted him.
You know who disagrees with him? Sarah Sanders, Susie Wiles, Kellyanne Conway, Kayleigh McEnany, Brooke Rollins, Mercy Schlapp, Linda McMahon, Elise Stefanik, Joni Ernst, Judith Pond Kudlow, and an endless list of strong and intelligent women working with Trump that could be very long. in this riff.
But let’s move on to today’s weak jobs report, the worst in three years, where private sector jobs fell by 102,000, and two months ago were revised down by 112,000 (remember the previous evaporation of 818,000 jobs?).
The only real increase came from 91,000 government jobs and government departments. There are 13 million unemployed or underemployed, and, in the past twelve months, native-born workers have lost nearly 800,000 jobs while foreign-born workers have gained over a million.
Also, while manufacturing jobs continue their decline, the ISM manufacturing index remains recessionary.
All of this reminds us of another lie, that 16 million jobs were created during the Biden-Harris administration. Kamala has repeated this a hundred times, but it is not true.
Excluding the COVID bounceback jobs, they created 6.7 million — about the same number as the Trump administration, pre-COVID.
A related lie is that they created 800,000 manufacturing jobs. But, given the retroactive effect, it’s only 93,000 – far less than Trump’s 414,000 manufacturing jobs.
VIVEK RAMASWAMY EXPLAINS HOW TRUMP CAN GIVE AMERICANS THE BIGGEST ECONOMIC ‘SHOOT’ NOW
In the Information Age, you can’t lie about these numbers. Everyone has access to the same government statistics.
And that reminds us of the lie that, when Biden-Harris takes office in 2021, they inherit a ‘collapsing,’ depression-like economy. It’s just not true.
Trump gave them a V-shaped COVID recovery. In the third quarter of 2020, the economy grew by 35%, followed by 4.5% in Q4, and 5.5% in the first quarter of 2021.
Then Biden-Harris released another lie – that they inherited hyperinflation.
It’s not entirely true. Trump gave an inflation estimate of 1.4%.
Repeatedly, Biden-Harris argued that they reduce the federal budget deficit. They always put this case.
But some of that is a lie, as the budget deficit is actually running $2 trillion out of sight, according to the CBO base.
Also, why lie when normal people can dial their computers and get real numbers?
Then, they lied about the billionaires only paying an 8% tax rate, but based this on the failed capital gains tax law that was never passed by Congress.
Aside from the economy, Kamala keeps saying that Trump will ban abortion across the country.
But this is false. Trump has rejected the idea at every opportunity, saying it is better handled by states under the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision.
After that, Kamala says Trump will limit access to birth control and IVF. And that is completely false, as Trump has said in almost every campaign.
Then there is the trash talk and lies from Kamala.
Trump is a fascist. He is Hitler. You are racist. He was a Russian agent. He is passionate, sexist, and so on.
All this is nonsense.
Former Trump OMB Director and Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney wrote that, in all the time he spent with Trump, he never heard a single thing about Hitler.
I went to hundreds of meetings in the Oval Office and elsewhere, and I heard nothing about Hitler.
The whole “threat to democracy” business that Kamala has going on is an old argument with no basis in fact.
Remember, it was the Biden-Harris Justice Department that armed the law against Mr. Trump also tried to put him in prison for 750 years. All failed on appeal.

Kamala talks trash and mudslings to avoid talking about her failed record on the kitchen table issues of high prices, falling real wages, the problem of not being able to pay for homes and cars, and everyday necessities. And, of course, the massive border crisis and the crime wave that followed it. And the world is on fire in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and the Middle East.
Kamala broke. Mr. Trump intends to fix it.
But the spewing of lies from President Biden and Vice President Harris demonstrates a major character flaw that, from Day 1, undermined their credibility and the trust of voters.
There are four days before the election. And that’s “The Riff.”
