Larry Kudlow reacts to the Middle East conflict

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying his best to teach Joe Biden and Kamala Harris why appeasement doesn’t work and that’s the subject of a riff. Last Friday, Prime Minister Netanyahu blasted the UN as a “swamp of anti-Semitic bile” and a “disgraceful farce” and ordered IDF troops to bomb the headquarters of Hezbollah, and capture Hezbollah assassin Hassan Nasrallah, as well as others terrorist commandos.

Today, Israel has launched an offensive in southern Lebanon to purge Hezbollah, and perhaps allow 60,000 to flee their homes. the Israelites to return to their homes in the north. It shows how actions speak louder than words, although words can be a warning, but effective actions include prevention. Just words, like “de-escalation” and “ceasefire” almost always make the situation worse.

Joe Biden admirably called Nasrallah’s death a measure of justice, but then went back to yet another call for a negotiated end to the fighting, believe it or not, using the anti-Semitic UN as a vehicle.

Israel is trying to teach a lesson to stop Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris, as the editor of the Wall Street Journal today aptly writes. Unfortunately, they are not listening to the judgment of this exchange today:

REPORTER: “It is possible that Israel is now launching a limited operation in Lebanon. Are you aware of that? Are you comfortable with their plans?” BIDEN: “I’m more careful than you might know, and I’m relieved if they stop. We have to lay down our weapons now.”

Here he is again. “We must lay down our weapons now.” He repeats: “We must not stop shooting now.” Let Israel handle it. Stop putting nails in Israel.

In fact, look at how successful Israel’s anti-terrorist and military operations have been. Remember the pagers and walkie talkies. Remember the use of bunker buster. Remember that neither Hezbollah nor Hamas can be trusted when it comes to ceasefire or hostage negotiations. Never again imagine the impact on Iran.

Hamas is bad. Hezbollah is evil, but Iran is the mother of all evils. Remember that Donald Trump took out Iran’s terrorist Commando Soleimani and ISIS commander Al Baghdadi and Trump’s classic “we have your phone number and your home address” line – allegedly to Taliban mullahs in Afghanistan.

Make sure Israel has the cell phone number and home address of the Iranian high ayatollahs — and they won’t hesitate to act, if the circumstances allow. Let me repeat the simple idea that appeasement always fails and the Biden-Harris dictionary equals appeasement. It failed everywhere. That’s why the world is on fire right now — from Afghanistan to Ukraine Middle East.

Persuading Iran to ease the oil embargo gave them the resources to finance Israel’s wars. And that, of course, was appeasement and look where it got us. Our enemies in Russia, China, Iran and North Korea — the so-called axis of evil — have always exploited America’s appeasement. In the corridors of power in Washington DC, the phrase “peace with power” is often thrown around. Right now, we don’t have peace and power.

Fortunately, in the corridors strength between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, we have brave freedom fighters, who are trying to teach a lesson to the US
