Lala Kent Throws Shade at Katie, Ariana’s Reaction to VPR Shakeup

“I don’t want to say I’m alive because I’m not. It was like the greatest moment of my entire life,” Lala said of her difficult response to the news. But at some point, you have to look at the big picture and say, ‘Can we still shoot it?’

Lala was asked about Katie, 37, saying she wasn’t planning on coming back and Ariana, 38, seemed “happy” about the news.

“I don’t think we would have been able to record it anymore. So whoever does well with it, I feel like a slap in the face,” Lala, who has been at odds with Katie and Ariana since season 11, added. “There are times when I look around and say, ‘Can we see that we have all these great opportunities because of Vanderpump Rules?”

Vanderpump Rules debuted on Bravo in 2013 as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Lala joined season 4 and stayed on the show until the November 2024 announcement that season 12 would have an entirely new cast.

“Without this show, no one can doubt— it’s one of us, and I just tried to always remember that. I always try to remember what made me come to this place,” said Lala on Wednesday. “Because before Vanderpump RulesI was just wandering around trying to hit the roads, a squirrel trying to find a nut. This program changed my entire life.”

Lala’s comments come after Katie revealed she said Vanderpump Rules The producers would not return before the news of the casting of the actors.

“I wasn’t planning to come back. I made a decision months ago after this past season. I needed to move on with my life,” he said on his “Defiance” podcast last month. “I had spoken to our producers so I told them about my decision about that. I felt ready for myself to move on to the show. I felt like my life and where I was was going in a different direction. Mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, I was determined to go on with the show.”

Katie remembered that she was ready for something new. “It was a long time ago. I have lived many lives and gone through many things in that program,” he continued. “It has come to a point where I don’t know if I can live and grow and become the kind of person I want to be in this program.”

Ariana, on the other hand, also talked about looking on the bright side of the situation.
