Even a broken foot could not stand Kim Kardashian from celebrating the launch of the Skims flagship store!
I The Kardashians star, 44, was seen using a knee scooter at the opening of her brand’s New York City store on Thursday, December 12, after breaking her left foot.
Kardashian wore an all-white ensemble for the event, including a white bustier top and white heels, proving you can’t keep a fashionista down. She had long hair, putting her bangs on display. The Skims founder even photographed his left leg sitting on a scooter outside the new store.
Kardashian shared the news of her broken foot through her Instagram Stories on December 6, per E! News. He posted a photo of his foot in a medical boot and wrote, “FML broke his foot over the holidays,” though he didn’t share details of his injury.

The new Fifth Avenue store for Skims is the latest milestone for the makeup and clothing brand, which last year was worth $4 billion. WWD. According to the store, the new site – a former Versace store – covers 6,570 square meters on four floors. The store has a dedicated co-working space, VIP area, office space and will employ approximately 175 people.
“It’s a really proud moment. When we started Skims, we obviously had high hopes, but I never thought about sales and what that would look like. … We’ve been very focused on direct-to-consumer and everything online. So the Fifth Avenue store exceeded all my expectations,” said Kardashian WWD in an interview published on Wednesday, December 11.
“The store has this high gloss mixed with monochromatic colors and materials and different textures, and everything is engraved with our signature,” Kardashian explained of the store.
“Two nights ago, I was up in the middle of the night on FaceTime, and the girls are at the store … and we were reorganizing everything,” he continued. “I started my first job in retail. So my favorite thing to do, I used to move all the merchandise in the back. So I asked them to save some pieces for me to eat.”
