The 51-year-old actress hit out at fans who spoke unsolicited about her appearance in a now-deleted Instagram post.
“It’s not a criticism, but I think he lost a lot of weight recently,” said one fan on Tuesday, December 31.
An unhappy Beckinsale responded to the comment, describing the comment as “unnecessary.”

Some comments on the post also generated applause from Canary Black star.
“Getting a little fat [sic] it doesn’t hurt,” wrote another commenter, to which Beckinsale replied: “Not everyone wants sisters like you.”
Beckinsale also didn’t flinch when someone wrote, “Esta muy delgada. what should I do?” (translated as “He’s too young. Is everything okay at home?”). He replied, “Everything’s great. f- off.”
Yet another person endured Beckinsale’s wrath when they asked, “What happened to K.beckinsale?”
The actor replied, “He’s dead. So please send donations and flowers to @refugecharity and I wish you a happy New Year. Happy New Year to everyone except you.”
It’s not the first time Beckinsale has been left unfazed by body shaming people commenting on her weight and looks.
Beckinsale hit out at trolls in July when they criticized her makeup after the actress posted a photo of herself in a swimsuit on Instagram.
“Go do some squats I think your ass has run away,” the troll wrote.

“I watched my stepfather die in a horrible way, my mother has stage 4 cancer, and I lost weight from the stress and grief so quickly,” she wrote.

Beckinsale’s father, a director Roy Battersby, he died at the age of 87 in January 2024 after a brief illness. At that time, he shared an obituary on his Instagram Story and confirmed his death.
