“Son to Virgo. He was born at home. My heart is now beating outside my chest. In love forevermore 💕👣,” Patton, 36, captioned a clip and photos of the newborn on Instagram on Friday, Sept. 27. Smith, 39, shared more adorable photos of their baby via her Instagram the other day, including a photo. her carrying her son in one arm.
Several celebrities congratulated the pair in comments on Patton’s post, including a number of former The CW cast members. “Congratulations!! ❤️,” Grant Gustinwho played alongside Patton in the Flashcommented, while Legends of Tomorrow star Caity Lotz he wrote, “Balas!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Superman & Lois‘ Elizabeth Tulloch told Patton that she was “going to be a great mum” in her comments, adding, “I’m so incredibly happy for you! Texting rn – it should send you viv’s favorite book as a child.” A woman alum Camrus Johnson she happily wrote, “AHHHHHHHHH I GOT A NEPHEW!,” while Legends of Tomorrow‘s Brandon Routh commented, “All love and congratulations!!!”

Patton and Smith did not share additional details about their child, including his birthday or name.
News of the pair’s children comes almost five years after Smith split from his wife, Jewel Harrisaccused her of having an affair with Patton. “God, I want to lift up my husband and ask you, Lord Father God, to cover him with your blood,” Harris, who married the former NBC star in 2016, said in a since-deleted Instagram video. “I ask in the powerful name of Jesus that you go to him where he is now and move him to God. He shakes her and wakes her up. . . I am asking you to fix where it is broken [and] he heals him.”
In the video, Harris also prayed for Patton to be given “grace and mercy” for allegedly stalking her husband. Patton did not publicly comment on the scandal at the time, but Smith addressed Harris’ allegations in an Instagram Story statement shortly afterward.
“There is no weapon built for me,” he wrote in December 2019. “IG is not a place for relationships!! But God told me that I have been separated for months. She doesn’t understand why her child failed to say that … #ThatsAll.” (Smith is reportedly the father of three children, two of whom he shares with Harris.)
It is not known if the former frontrunners are legally separated, and whether Smith and Patton are officially dating and how long they have been together. (Us Weekly (has reached out to attorneys for Smith and Patton for comment.)
The announcement of their child’s arrival marked Patton’s first Instagram post since June 2023. Smith, on the other hand, often shares her family life with fans via social media. “Life Lately!” posted a batch of recent baby photos via Instagram on August 21.
Back in February, she shared hilarious photos of her two daughters dressed as old ladies. “Happy 100th day of school to these old ladies! 🤣,” he wrote along with the Instagram photos.
