Joey Lawrence is dumping his wife Samantha Cope after the divorce was annulled

The actor, 48, attacked his wife with an Instagram story written on Thursday, December 26.
“I’m the luckiest husband alive,” Lawrence wrote while sharing a fan’s Instagram Story with a photo of Cope playing on Instagram. Marry Christmas. (Lawrence costars with Cope in the recently released Christmas movie.)
Lawrence added the hashtag, “Mywifeisbeautiful.”
On the same day, Lawrence and Cope, 37, shared a series of photos of themselves looking loved up on the beach in a joint Instagram post.
“‘Keep room in your heart for unexpected things.’ – Mary Oliver,” the caption reads.
Lawrence opened up about his past feelings, commenting on the post, “I’m the luckiest man alive 🤍✨”
The pair confirmed they had reconciled in a post on social media in December 2024 – five months after Cope filed for divorce from Lawrence. Us confirmed earlier this month that Cope has filed for divorce.
Lawrence shared two romantic photos of him and his estranged wife promoting their film Marry Christmas via Instagram on Wednesday, December 4. One photo showed the two kissing.
“I am beyond blessed 🤍I am beyond blessed🤍I am beyond grateful 🤍 My heart is full ❤️,” Lawrence wrote along with the photos.

Us Weekly confirmed that Cope filed for divorce from Lawrence on Wednesday, August 21, two months after their listed date of separation. In a statement shared on Instagram, Joey cited the breakdown of his marriage to Cope who allegedly refused to accept Charleston and Liberty. Cope has denied the claims.

“I loved the idea of a relationship so much that, even in my weakest state, I fell into a committed relationship [but] I wasn’t ready for that,” Joey explained. “The views there did not match, therefore, I gave up and abandoned my beliefs that I had lived all my life.”
