Jessica Chastain Slams Airline After In-flight Entertainment Breach

Good Nurse The actress hit out at the X airline after its in-flight entertainment system reportedly malfunctioned during her six-hour flight.
Taking to her social media account, an angry Chastain expressed her dismay at being billed $15 after the incident – an amount she apparently felt was insufficient.
“Thank you @JetBlue for your $15.00 credit,” Chastain wrote about X. “My flight was $1500 and the credit is 1/100 of what I paid you.”
He added: “It’s weird that I paid that much for your in-flight entertainment system that didn’t work for my 6hr flight time, but I think it was worth the $15 credit.”
JetBlue’s inflight entertainment is often included for free on trips with the budget carrier.
Chastain also shared a screenshot of a conversation with a customer representative who confirmed she received a credit for a malfunctioning entertainment system.
“Flight crew charged $15 per person for TV blackout,” read a message from a JetBlue representative to Chastain.

“I understand but I spent $1500 on the plane and so did my husband. There must be flight credit or something since I have a TrueBlue account and have been a loyal customer,” Chastain wrote.
Despite her complaints, the screenshot showed a JetBlue agent apologizing and replying that “there’s nothing else I can do.”
Chastain has nearly a million followers on social media after gaining fame for her role The Tree of Life in 2011.
Over the years, he has appeared in Help (2011), Black Egg Thirty (2012), Scenes from a Wedding (2021) and more.
Despite speculation that he will star in the screen adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s best-selling book, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn HugoChastain dismissed the moving rumors.
The actress has confirmed that there is “no way” she could play Celia St. James in the upcoming Netflix version.
“But I love how excited the fans are,” he said E! News in an interview published in December, 2023. “When I was working on Broadway, every day, they were outside, when I was signing, with books. I love how nice the fans are.”
