Jennifer Lawrence is dressing up her growing baby bump in style as she prepares to welcome her second child with husband Cook Maroney.
Us Weekly confirmed in October 2024 that the couple, who tied the knot in 2019, were raising their children. The two are parents to son Cy, who they welcomed in February 2022.
In the months leading up to the revelation, the source told Exclusively Us in June 2023 that Lawrence and Maroney were considering adding another child to their family.
“They are thinking about having another child,” said an insider at the time. “At first they weren’t sure if they wanted another one because it’s a lot of work, but they are passionate about Cy and love showing their friends and family the videos. They have started to warm up until a second is possible.”
After welcoming his son Cy, Lawrence confided that his heart “stretched to the point of [she] I didn’t know anything.”
“The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, now is the first day of my life,” she said Vogue in October 2022. “I just stared. I was just in love. I also fell in love with all the kids everywhere. Newborn babies are so amazing. These are the ones that are still alive that are pink, swollen, and fragile.”
