On Monday, Spiro started the table saying that Jay-Z “did not rape a child” before making a presentation detailing the allegations that did not work in the accuser’s case.
The woman went public last week to admit the hacking of her account but resisted her allegations. Buzbee then responded to Spiro’s comments in his own statement Us.
“This client was signed and transferred to our firm by another law firm. That law firm wrote the first complaint,” he said on Monday. “However, four people in our company interviewed the customer and checked the details after receiving the referral. A background check was conducted on the client. We also contacted a veteran investigator to check some of the information he revealed to us. Buzbee continued: “We sent a letter to the lawyer of Mr. Carter said we would sit down to talk privately. Instead of accepting that request, Mr. Spiro chose to file a lawsuit against me personally for fraud. He said that knowing that we do not want money at all and we are giving it to the public. That case is completely absurd. Other: At least three attorneys from our firm consulted with the client before filing the amended complaint naming Mr. Carter. The client also signed two separate affidavits. Our client remains adamant about his claim. Mr. Spiro tries to be a bully. But we will not be abused. Our behavior has been above reproach and will continue to be. We will be raising the behavior of our adversaries over time which is very troubling.”
