Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Monday that the resilience of Israeli citizens is the key to the successful progress of the war against the Lebanese army in the Lebanese Hezbollah.
“We are intensifying our offensive in Lebanon,” Gallant said during discussions about the escalation of the conflict with Hezbollah.
He said this will continue until Israel reaches its goal of ensuring that the residents of the northern region return safely to their homes.
“We have days to come when the community must show calmness, good behavior and fully comply with the orders at home,” said Gallant.
He added that people’s lives were saved during the attack on Lebanon because Israelis moved to shelters.
