Israel-Iran War News Update: Amid growing tensions between Israel and Iran, Air India said on Wednesday it is checking its flights daily for any potential safety or security risks across its network while monitoring the situation closely. “All our flights are checked daily to detect any possible security or safety risks regardless of whether they are in the Middle East or any other part of our route network. Adjustments are made, if necessary, to avoid risk areas with minimal impact on our continuity. The situation is closely monitored,” the private airline said. This comes amid a new escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran after Iran reported a missile attack on Israel.

According to an Air India official, the airline intends to conduct its current international operations with a “risk-free” policy.

Meanwhile, the Indian government is putting together an advisory for Indian airlines operating in the region, Zee Business has learned from sources.

Earlier, Air India was informed that it is planning to change its flight routes in the airspaces near Israel and Iran, including one of its flights from New Delhi to London passing through the region near the Iranian airspace.

The airline was also informed that it is reviewing all its flight operations on international routes. It is also being readied to equip all its international flights with extra fuel to meet emergency situations to avoid Iranian or Israeli airspace.

The airline has already canceled a scheduled flight to Tel Aviv in Israel.

The incidents follow a new escalation in the ongoing war between Israel and Iran, after Iran launched a missile attack on Israel, according to Iranian state media. The news came hours after the AP news agency quoted a US official as saying that Iran was preparing to attack Israel. The official also warned of “serious consequences” for Iran, according to the report.
