Indian Bank to raise Rs 5,000 crore through FY25 infrastructure bonds

State Bank of India on Thursday said its board has approved the raising of Rs 5,000 crore in long-term infrastructure bonds to finance projects.

The board has approved the raising of long-term infrastructure bonds of up to Rs 5,000 crore over and above the Rs 5,000 crore already raised by the bank in FY25, the bank said in a regulatory filing.

It will be implemented in one or more phases during the current or next financial year based on the requirement of financing/refinancing of infrastructure and affordable housing in accordance with applicable RBI guidelines and other applicable laws, rules and regulations, it said.
