It took place more than 10,000 years before the events of A mound, Dune: Prophecy dates back to the early days of the Bene Gesserit order. Here, sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen (played by ChernobylEmily Watson and The crown‘s Olivia Williams) work to pave the way for the Imperium from the shadows, ultimately hoping to put a Bene Gesserit sister on the throne. Of course, many challenges await the sisters, including the mysterious soldier Desmond Hart (Travis Fimmel, Boy Swallows Universe), who wants to remove all traces of the Bene Gesserit from the Imperium.
Without giving us a glimpse Dune: ProphecyThe plot, the new trailer is full of details to send A mound fans are crazy. From the use of the Word to the return of the Butlerian Jihad against all thinking machines to forces that remain mythical, Dune: Prophecy looks like a promising return to the Frank Herbert universe.
Dune: Prophecy premieres November 17 at 9 pm ET on HBO and Max.
