Hulu Documentary From Comedy Legend Highlights One of the Greatest Writers That Ever Lived

With Kurt Vonnegut: Don’t Work on TimeWeide takes on an almost Charlie Kaufman-esque sense of endless introspection. The movie seems to reference its production as much as it references Vonnegut’s original work, resulting in a beautiful piece of engaging and provocative media.

As a fan of Kurt Vonnegut’s work, I purposely sought out this Hulu documentary as a way to learn more about the man behind some of my favorite comic novels and short stories. Instead, I became intimately familiar with Vonnegut’s friendship and influence on his family, in a final product that was much deeper than I had expected.
