Harry Hamlin Shares His Most Memorable Meals of All Time

Harry Hamlin he’s more than just an actor and entrepreneur – he’s a certified foodie!

One of the most memorable meals Hamlin, 72, ever had was a meal he ordered on his first date with his wife. Lisa Rinnamet him in 1992.

“Spaghetti with garlic and Tuscan oil in Brentwood,” Hamlin revealed in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “The waiter told us we are soul mates!”

The waiter seemed to be looking at something like Hamlin no Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 61, tied the knot in 1997 and have been happily married ever since. The couple shares daughters Delilah, 26, and Amelia, 23. (Hamlin is also father to son Dimitri, 44, whom he adopted via ex. Ursula Andress.)

Although Hamlin has fond memories of ordering pasta with Rinna, he also has a sense of humor when it comes to preparing Italian food. During Rinna’s time RHOBH during the stay, many of his expenses would flow over it Mad Men Alum spaghetti sauce, which she came up with in the ’80s while raising her son in Rome. The sauce has become part of Hamlin’s weekly routine as he prepares it every Sunday for his family.

After years of praise, Hamlin decided to bottle and sell his recipe so everyone could get a taste. Hamlin recently launched Harry’s Famous Sauce through his company Open Food. The recipe includes rosemary, red wine and “a few hours of love.” The recipe uses real ingredients and has no additives or preservatives.

In addition to being able to purchase a jar of the sauce, Hamlin also shared the recipe in case fans want to try making their own.

Hamlin’s love of food doesn’t stop at Italian fare. His passion for cooking extends to all types of cooking. Another staple is his recipe from a famous friend’s kitchen.

“It’s a recipe for beef stew that I got years ago Cindy Crawford,” Hamlin said of his comfort food.

Although Hamlin considers himself an avid foodie, there was one kitchen staple that he didn’t begin to appreciate until later in life.

“I didn’t eat a piece of cheese until I was a sophomore in college,” he says Us. “I was hungry and broke, and the only thing in the fridge in the shelter was a two-pound block of cheddar!”

After tasting cheese for the first time, Hamlin discovers that he likes milk. However, he still avoids “smelling things” to this day.
