General Hospital will lose Sam McCall soon and when he dies, he can do it to save two lives Alexis Davis, and Lulu Spencer. GH spoilers have confirmed Kelly Monaco’s official exit from the ABC soap.
And Sam will do something dangerous. This may be how he ended up dead. But in doing so, he might save his mother and his dying boyfriend’s ex-wife.
Let’s talk about the ticking clock in his life on GH. And there’s the big question of whether Sam comes off as a hero in a really big way. Even if they take him out in a very unpleasant way.
General Hospital: Sam McCall Dies – Will He Save Lives?
General Hospital is counting down to the death of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). We still don’t know his final airdate, but the chess pieces are already moving into place. First, his mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is in prison.
He is charged with the murder of John Cates (Adam Harrington). Second, the failure of Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) courage affects the people who love Sam. Alexis is facing the death penalty because he is being prosecuted at the federal level. That shocked everyone.
Many people in town have been screened as potential donors to Lulu, confirm the GH spoilers. That includes Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and even Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
But no one has been a match so far in General Hospital. Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), who saved Lulu with a bone marrow donation, is unable to donate. Because his liver levels are very low. Some are too old or have medical histories that prevent them from donating.
GH Spoilers: Lulu Spencer’s Courage’s Life-and-Death Crisis
GH spoilers see Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) becoming increasingly worried that Lulu Spencer is going to die. Sam knows this and feels bad for him. Another thing that stands out is that Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) told Dante that Lulu’s full-blooded brother, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), should be like a brave donor.
But Isaya warned that there could be problems if Lucky drinks or has other health concerns. And he is kept in difficult conditions, so Lulu’s brother is not sure that he will donate to the General Hospital. And, as Lulu’s condition deteriorates, donating a partial liver won’t work. Soon, only a whole liver from a deceased or dying donor will work.
So the race to bring Lucky home may be futile in GH. A source reported that Sam’s death was driven by the story. The main issue that comes with this is Lulu’s liver problem and her need for a transplant.
General Hospital: Alexis Davis Faces Death Penalty
General Hospital has a second life on the line and Alexis faces the death penalty for murder if convicted. Soon, Sam McCall puts himself in danger as he tries to save his mother. The biggest problem is the missing gun.
Molly Lansing (Kristen Vaganos) thinks Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) killed Jagger. She really wanted him dead. Meanwhile, Sam is convinced that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may have been the one who spied on someone or hired the hitman.
Either way, there is a way to free Alexis and Sam wants to find it ASAP. Remember, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) saw Alexis throw a gun on the footbridge. It went into the river and they told the police.
Dante updates Sam that the PCPD sent divers down but did not find the gun. If they had, they could have run ballistics and hopefully freed Alexis. Longtime fans of General Hospital know Sam McCall as a professional and intrepid scuba diver.
So, Sam plans to search the river and find the gun that Alexis Davis threw away. In the real world, the daughter of the accused murderer would not be allowed to look at the evidence. But in the soap world, Sam will try to get a gun to save Alexis.

GH spoilers confirm Kelly Monaco’s exit and Sam McCall’s death. So, I wonder if the writers plan to kill two birds with one stone. If Sam gets the gun, he can save Alexis’ life. But if something happens, such as a diving injury, he may have fatal injuries.
And Sam might be a hero twice over if his courage matches Lulu Spencer’s on General Hospital. Since GH seems determined to kill Sam, he has to go out in a big way. Saving two lives would be better than a disabled car accident or an accidental shooting.
We know we’re losing Kelly Monaco, but I want Sam to go out in a fearless way. And if he manages to save both Alexis and Lulu, that would be something to remember at General Hospital.
