General Hospital reveals that Portia Robinson actually tampered with Heather Webber’s blood test. The big question now is, will Brad Cooper fall for Portia’s questionable but understandable actions?
General Hospital: Portia Robinson Dumps Brad?
General Hospital fans realized that Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) intentions were clear. Heather Webber (Alley Mills) planned to kill Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) with her poison hook, and despite Heather’s openness to Cobalt, longtime viewers know that her history of violence predates her hip replacement. Portia, as her daughter’s fierce protector, would not let Heather escape justice.
This isn’t the first time Portia has gone to extreme lengths to protect Trina from General Hospital. When Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno), the iconic drug dealer who sold Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) the phone used to make the infamous tape of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), was in a coma, Portia. he risked his life by waking her up to get the information needed to free Trina. Portia’s message is clear – don’t mess with her baby girl.
But now, with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) back in the lab, will Portia let him take the blame for her actions? Portia had warned Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) that if Brad made one mistake, she would fire him. General Hospital spoilers make this look like a scapegoat setup.
Rick Lansing (Rick Hearst), with the help of Liz, has realized that something is wrong with Heather’s blood test. When he has more blood work done by an independent lab, he will have proof that someone from the GH lab is negative. And given Brad’s history of test tampering and other misdeeds, he’s an easy target.
It’s worth noting that Brad had both the means and the motive to screw up Heather’s test. Heather killed her best friend, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), with her poisoned hook. If Portia had asked her to fix the test, she probably would have done it for Britt’s sake. However, Portia is acting alone, and Brad may become obsessed with her actions.
General Hospital: Is Brad Cooper’s Life Ruined?
General Hospital spoilers leave the question, are there security cameras in the lab that might have caught Portia in the act? If so, and if Brad talks to her, will she try to blame him? Portia may think she’s made it, she doesn’t care that she’s ruining Brad’s life, as she may believe he deserves to be a “bad guy.”
However, like her lie about Trina’s paternity, Portia’s deception will likely be exposed, and she will face the consequences. He only comes clean when forced to, and this lie will likely come back to haunt him.
As for Brad, it is unlikely that he will stay at General Hospital for long. He may have been brought back just because of this issue, and actor Parry Shen will likely be gone again soon, despite being a fan favorite.
