General Hospital: Did Portia Play Dirty – Who Caught Heather’s Blood Test?
General Hospital spoilers hint that Portia Robinson could be the reason Heather Webber’s blood test came back negative — or it could be another factor at play. There’s a rat in the lab, but who made the mess?
Ric Lansing is on the sidelines with a little help from Elizabeth Webber. Therefore, Portia (or someone else) may end up losing her job because of this action. Red flags may point to the wrong person after Dr. Terry Randolph made a disgraceful re-hire on GH.
General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Robinson Looks Guilty
General Hospital spoilers recall that during Drew Quartermaine’s campaign, Curtis Ashford heard his wife Portia (Brook Kerr) on the phone. He was calling the lab to run a blood test on Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
When Curtis asks about it, Portia tells him that Heather is out of Pentonville and is at GH for a blood test. It is because of his case that was managed by Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). We saw Portia upset on GH when she found out Heather got a new shark on her side.
Rick Lansing (Rick Hearst) has replaced Scotty as Heather’s lawyer, and he’s ruthless. Portia insisted on going to draw Heather’s blood. And when he got back to the nurse’s station, he stared at that bottle of blood.
I suspected at the time that Portia tampered with the test, but now I wonder if it was a red herring at General Hospital. Recap of the week saw Ric tell Heather the bad news. His case is dead in the water – both the civil case and his conviction.
GH Spoilers: Heather Webber’s Wonky Test Results Intrigue Ric
Last week’s GH spoilers confirmed that Ric told Heather the blood work showed that her cobalt level had not changed after the surgery. They needed to see low cobalt levels to continue. He says that his hip placement did not make him kill those people. It was just his badness.
But he listened closely on General Hospital as Heather Webber insisted that was not true. He feels completely different now. He regrets it and doesn’t understand why he did that killing of Hook. Heather seems sincere.
A good point for Ric is when Heather offers her condolences for the loss of her first grandchild. The lost child of Molly Lansing (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was family to her.
Heather is probably one of the few people who have sympathized with her for the loss of her grandson. That’s what led him to rush back to General Hospital to talk to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
Ric showed him two sets of Heather’s test results. One from the GH lab showed that Heather’s cobalt levels had not changed. Another, from an independent lab, showed a very different result. Liz quickly noticed that something was off, confirming Ric’s suspicions.
General Hospital: Portia Looks Bad – But Is Brad Cooper Guilty?
General Hospital showcased this series of events. Portia drew blood and the lab ran the test. A private lab may have obtained a blood sample from Heather in Pentonville. Or Portia took one sample and someone from a private lab took the other.
These very different results from the two labs tripped up the system. But was it Portia Robinson’s plan? Or was it someone else’s? Or was it a plot to keep Heather Webber locked up at GH?
Last month, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) returned to GH, asking chief of staff Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) for his lab tech job. They analyzed his misdeeds, and Terry said he would think about it.
Then, in this week’s General Hospital spoiler promo for Monday the 23rd, there’s a scene where Portia confronts Terry about rehiring Brad. So, that’s interesting because it would mean that Portia Robinson is not a testing machine.
It could be Brad. And you will have good reason to do so. Heather Webber killed her best friend Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). He was one of the last victims of the Hook Killer. Brad wouldn’t want Heather to be free. He may even want to work to prevent it.
Right now, Portia Robinson looks guilty since she took the role. She is also the mother of one of Heather’s intended victims – Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). That fact alone meant that Portia shouldn’t have been alone with Heather.
Portia is terrified Heather is still a threat to Trina and will break out of jail to come after her again. In the end, Ric has to do what’s best for his client. That shows that someone at GH compromised their integrity and tampered with the experiment. But was it Brad or Portia Robinson?
