Fury V Usyk 2 Tonight! Big Fight Prediction

Tonight brings the highly anticipated rematch between the 2 best Heavyweights in the world in a fight that is too close to call, but I will analyze and give my opinion on how this could work out….

If we go back to the first fight 7 months ago, Fury may have won the fight in his head after 5 or 6 rounds as he was cruising along and a mixture of Fury’s showboating and Usyk’s ability to adapt to the fight was the undoing of the fight. Anger at this event.

Ultimately the key moment in that fight was the 9th round, where Usyk dominated which resulted in a 10 – 8 round in favor of Usyk. If this round had been 10 – 9 for Usyk, the fight would have ended in a draw for most. It always comes down to the top end at the top of any game and I believe Fury can adjust and make amends to get the job done tonight.

Make no mistake about it, Usyk is a great player and he is the only fighter who has never been bothered by any of Fury’s mind games which has led to a very focused and cold version of Fury this time around. All matches are made and this is very different from Tyson Fury.

There is no doubt that Fury has a great boxing IQ, as does Usyk, however, in terms of returns I move a lot with Fury and make the necessary adjustments to come back and improve over Usyk. 2 notable rematch that saw a big improvement was the first one back in 2009 against John McDermott where Fury won a narrow decision, and many thought he might have lost.

In a slow contest, but 3 fights and 9 months later, Fury won with a convincing 9th round stoppage. The most notable rematch was the 2nd with Wilder. The first fight had Fury in danger of recovering from a 12th round knockout that resulted in a draw and like the McDermott match, Fury would meet Wilder again 3 fights later. The 2nd fight with Wilder ended with Fury knocking him out in the 7th round.

This game is different for different reasons. Syk is head and shoulders above both McDermott and Wilder. This is a quick rematch and both fighters went through the opposite and reached the end of their career. Make no mistake about it, as many great fights including The Thrilla in Manilla in 1975 between Ali v Frazier in their third match saw both men reach the top and reach the end of their careers, but this did not affect it being one of the greatest matches in the history of -heavyweight and I think it is also likely to live up to expectations.

If Usyk were to win, I think this would be the last time we see both of them fight in the ring like nothing else. Fury is coming off a back to back, Usyk is a joint champion in 2 weight divisions and has beaten 2 of the top contenders including current IBF world champion Daniel Dubois and former world champion Anthony Joshua.

A win for Fury will open up a trilogy with Usyk, a big fight with Anthony Joshua or another fight with the winner Dubois V Parker, although if Parker wins that is another story as Parker and Fury are very close, but the point remains that a win for Fury will generate more money than a win for -Usyk and that is true.

How to win this game is also very difficult to drive and interesting stats are coming from me. Usyk has never been officially knocked down in his professional career so far, however, he was knocked out by joint Light Heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev in a brutal amateur shootout in 2011. another interesting statistic is that Fury won by KO in every single round except the 12th round.

My prediction is a 12 round stoppage for Fury as this count just screams to me and I think Fury will want to leave it all in the ring this time.

I can see it will come down to points but I want to make a bold prediction and I’m going to stick a few pounds to Fury with a KO of 12.

What did the students predict…..?
