Fury And Usyk To Be Ringside For Joshua – Dubois

Heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will be side by side on Saturday at Wembley Stadium when they will watch IBF champion Daniel Dubois defend Anthony Joshua.

It will be interesting to see how Fury and Joshua react to seeing their champion Usyk for the first time since beating them. Joshua may find Usyk’s presence a bit of a bummer because he didn’t make it after losing to the Ukrainian talent two years ago, in August 2022, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

After the fight, Joshua went into a mental breakdown, snatched Usyk’s belts, threw them out of the ring, and then said something out of the blue after grabbing a microphone to address the crowd. Joshua looked crazy like he could do anything.

I hope Joshua doesn’t see Usyk in the crowd because he needs to be 100% in his fight with Dubois. If Joshua is intimidated by Usyk’s presence, it could cost him, making him less effective.

Regardless of the outcome of the Joshua-Dubois fight, Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) has been promised a fight with Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) by the Honorable Turki Alalshikh. Usyk will face Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) next in a heavyweight contest that could be in doubt if both win their fights.

It would be better for the fans if the winner of the Joshua-Dubois fight faced the winner of Fury-Usyk II because it would be in sports. The way it’s planned, we could see Joshua and Fury return to their all-English fight next year, losing in embarrassing fashion.

If it is the situation we see, the promoter Eddie Hearn will have to come up with another company for this fight because he says Fury vs Joshua will be the biggest fight in boxing. It will not be the case if one or both of them come out of losses.

On December 21, Usyk defends his WBA, WBC, and WBO titles against Fury in a rematch in Riyadh. It’s a fight that Fury needs to win in order to create more excitement for the match between him and Joshua. However, it is unlikely to happen because Syk has already received Fury’s number after defeating him last May.
