Black Friday cruise deals 2024: Here are the best pre-holiday deals at sea

With travel selling like hotcakes, you’re already behind if you haven’t already thought about your 2025 summer vacation. Fortunately, many cruise lines are offering Black Friday deals this year, allowing you to take advantage of discounts on fares and amenities such as cabin upgrades, “kids fly free” offers, onboard credit, free airfare and other bonuses when you start planning. forward. Since many of these stores are already live, you don’t have to wait until after Thanksgiving to get a jump on cruise shopping.
Because the demand for cruises is so high, so are the fares. That means the deals we’re seeing this year aren’t as good as in years past, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still find some savings and added value.
It’s easy to get swept up in deals with what appears to be a great deal – or a fixed amount discount or a percentage discount – but the fees may not be as cheap as you believe. Always make sure you’re comfortable with the final price, what you’re getting in value for any extras and what you’ll pay per person, per night before you book any trip.

Azamara
Azamara is offering significant savings this Black Friday. Passengers can take a 20% discount on cruise fares for savings of up to $4,000, depending on the cabin type booked. This deal can also be combined with the line’s current November promotion that earns cruise passengers up to $750 in onboard credit per cabin, based on length of voyage. The Black Friday offer can be found on the Azamara website from Nov. 19 until Dec. 4.
Carnival Cruise Line
With the More = Merrier sale, you can book select Carnival cruises from May 2026 and save up to $125 per cabin. Also, if you book three or more people in a cabin, the deposit will be reduced to just $25 per person. You can use this offer until Nov. 16.
Celebrity Boats
Sailing is more fun when you bring a friend. Until Dec. 9, Celebrity Cruises is offering a 75% discount on a second cruise when you buy one at regular price on select cruises of three nights or longer starting May 10, 2027. That means you can choose to go at the last minute. or plan more in advance. Plus, you’ll also get an additional $250 per economy cabin for two passengers or $500 per cabin for four when sharing a room.
Costa Cruises
Black Friday is a relatively new concept for the Italian cruise line Costa Cruises, which has just begun to make its presence known in the North American market. This year, through Nov. 24, the line is offering passengers Black Friday Warm-Up deals, including fares starting at $499 per person on Caribbean and Mediterranean cruises. As part of the promotion, a new ship will open each week leading up to the holidays, so be sure to check back.
Cunard
As of Nov. 21 to Dec. 9, guests booking cabins on Cunard’s posh Princess and Queens Grills will earn up to $400 per cabin in onboard credit. Although the credit is only available on superior stateroom types, savings abound across the board, with in-cabin rates starting at $899 per person. Destinations include Alaska, the Norwegian fjords, New England and, of course, the symbolic crossing of the transatlantic line between Southampton, England, and New York City. Be sure to use promo code “RDC” when booking. This offer is only valid for the first two guests per room.

Disney Cruise Line
While Disney Cruise Line rarely runs Black Friday-specific offers, discount select last-minute cruises — including exciting 2024 holiday cruises — through February 2025 from Galveston, Texas; Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral (near Orlando), Florida; Honolulu; and Sydney. Passengers booking one of these three- to 15-day itineraries will save up to 20% on guaranteed cabin fares. That means you won’t be able to choose your specific room, but you’re guaranteed to get it in the category you choose or above. Full non-refundable payment and reservation information for all guests is required at time of reservation.
Grand Circle Travel
If a river cruise is on your 2024 travel agenda, you’re in luck. Grand Circle is offering its riders a choice of two deals to celebrate the holiday season. The first is saving up to $500 off everything on next year’s trip. The second is free airfare – up to a value of $2,000 – for anyone wishing to travel from February to June 2025. Also, customers will receive an additional 10% discount if they pay in full at the time of booking. Reservations must be made by Dec. 2 using promo code “BLACKFRIDAY24.”
Margaritaville by the Sea
Margaritaville at Sea, Jimmy Buffett’s oceangoing cruise brand, is offering discounted cruises starting in April 2026. Two people can cruise on a two-night cruise from $99 – less than $25 per person, per night. Additionally, the third and fourth passengers sharing the same space will sail for free (excluding taxes and fees). Anyone booking as part of the promotion will also receive up to $300 in onboard credit, based on the length of the cruise.
This offer is available from Nov. 13 to 29 on the Margaritaville website; until then, travelers can take advantage of the Black Friday Early Access line sale, which offers 60% off all cruises through 2026. With the sale, the third and fourth guests in the cabin also sail for free, and you’ll get up to $300. with onboard credit and a 10% discount on the beach and a variety of drinks and dining packages.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Until Nov. 11, NCL is running a Black Friday Preview Sale that will save you 50% off all cruises and a bunch of freebies. Book now, and get up to $2,000 in value in the form of free Wi-Fi and airfare (for the second passenger when you pay for one flight with the cruise line), a luxurious open air lounge, including exclusive dining options, shore excursion credits and optional third and fourth passengers free sailing when sharing a cabin with two other boat passengers.
Overseas Adventure Travel
If you’re 50 or older and a fan of small group cruises, you can enjoy a $500 discount on any 2025 cruise with Overseas Adventure Travel. Or, if you can travel fast, you can get savings of up to $5,300 per person on select trips from January to June 2025. Just book your cabin by Dec. 2 use the promo code “BLACKFRIDAY24” to get the discount. Plus, if you pay in full at the time of booking, you’ll save 10%.
Oceania Cruises
Luxury cruise passengers can get a four-class cabin upgrade when they book one of Oceania’s more than 90 cruises starting in 2025. To make the deal even more attractive, you’ll also get the choice of a premium liquor package, up to $1,000. with fare credit or free airfare. This promotion will be available on the Oceania website when it goes live on Nov. 15; will continue until Dec. 10.
Royal Caribbean
As part of its Black Friday Preview Sale, family-friendly cruise line Royal Caribbean is discounting cruises up to $750 and throwing an extra 60% off the fare of a second guest when you book through Nov. 11. If that’s not enough, children 12 and under travel free if they are the third and fourth passengers in a cabin occupied by two paying adults.
Victory Cruise Lines
On December 4, Victory Cruise Lines – an all-inclusive cruise line that sails the Great Lakes and the Canadian coast – is running a Black Friday sale that includes $2,000 in savings per cabin on Great Lakes cruises from April, May and June. 2025. You’ll also catch a complimentary shore excursion at your port of embarkation, either Chicago or Toronto, depending on the itinerary you choose. Use code “BLACKFRIDAY” when booking.
The Viking

Agents have access to the same great deals the lines offer, but sometimes they can throw in a few extra extras, like free bottles of wine or onboard credit. Before booking anything directly, you may need to make a phone call.
Book through the airline portal
For any cruise deal, run the numbers to see if you’re better off booking directly with the cruise line, travel agent or air travel specialist. United Cruises, for example, often offers additional incentives for passengers to book through its website. At press time, passengers with Premier status with United can take advantage of benefits such as complimentary bottles of wine, spa credit and bonus United miles when booking cruises on select lines through United Cruises.
American Airlines Cruises has a similar portal that allows you to enjoy benefits such as waived deposits and bonus American Airlines AAdvantage miles.
