Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, joined ‘The Bottom Line’ to talk about how she became a Republican.
Elon Musk’s mother, Maye, shared her political views on X on Sunday, writing that former President Donald Trump is popular in Europe and Asia, and “only America can have a problem.”
“I need to add, when I model or give speeches in Europe and Asia, they love Trump. Only America can have a problem. Although it seems that there are many Republicans in fashion. Time will tell…” 76 years old model, writer and dietitian he wrote.
Maye’s post comes after a live chat titled “Enough is Enough” on Tesla’s Silicon Valley X Owners page where he talked extensively about politics and his son’s success and influence. The broadcast was approximately 41 minutes long and took questions from three other participants on the call.

When Maye wrote her aforementioned opinion, she was sharing a clip of a live interview where she said, “If I have to stop modeling in America, I want to save America rather than my modeling career.”
Maye, who recently announced his conversion to a Republican voter, has been vocal against the Biden-Harris administration and Elon and his companies’ media management.

“You can be angry too if one of your children does something special and gets trashed all the time,” he said during an interview, expressing that he was previously “brainwashed” by the Democratic Party.

Maye added that he was frustrated by the attacks on Elon and his new plans, and expressed that he believed that surrender Free speech in X is very important – and he is worried that the platform will be closed under the presidency of Kamala Harris.

She pointed out that the fashion industry has many Democrats, but she knows there are “closet Republicans” and she hopes her outspokenness will encourage others to speak up without fear of losing their jobs.

“I’ve never been in politics, but now I would like Democrats to go out and vote for a Republican for the first time. Although it will be very uncomfortable and they will feel like a traitor or whatever, but they need to vote for Trump,” he said at the end of the interview. “You have no other choice if you care about America.”
