The incident that fueled Elon Musk’s controversial (and now deleted) post was the latest assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump.
In response to this, Musk posted the following words: “And no one is trying to kill Biden/Kamala.” Like all trolls, Musk later revealed that his angry position was just a joke, but the Secret Service is not laughing and has begun investigating the X CEO.
Regarding Elon Musk’s post, the Secret Service previously confirmed that it was “aware” of the assassination comment. They declined to comment further, citing “matters involving security intelligence.” Somehow (at least, to Musk), they also say that their agency “investigates all threats related to our security personnel.”
