Diddy Jokes About Locking Out Women At Parties In Conan O’Brien Interview
In the wake of the arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs, an old interview has resurfaced showing the rapper joking about locking up women at events.
The interview, which took place on Late Night With Conan O’Brien The talk show in 2002, featured a young Diddy, now 54, giving advice to a manager on how to throw a “killer party.”
“He is a legend in the parties he creates. You’re having a great party,” O’Brien, 61, told Diddy in a clip that was reposted on social media on Friday, September 20. “What’s the ingredient? What do you do to throw an amazing, killer party?”
Diddy then listed the things he thought were necessary for a successful party.
“This is what you have to do. Women. The wives are really beautiful. Men are good for women, of course,” said the rapper. “You need water. I don’t know if guys have noticed this but a lot of ladies drink water at parties, so if you don’t have what they need, they will leave. You have to keep them there. Locks are needed on the doors.”
O’Brien seemed surprised by the “key” suggestion, replying, “This sounds dangerous right now.”
In response, the music mogul described it as “a little kinky,” before retracting the comment and going on to share her list of “ingredients” needed for her celebrity parties.
“You need a lot of heat. You don’t have air conditioning. The heat has an effect on the alcohol but everyone gets a bit more relaxed and relaxed… it creates a nice little sweat,” he added.
O’Brien, on the other hand, responded that “it just sounds disgusting.”
Concluding his partying tips, Diddy summed it up by saying, “You need good music and you need me, of course.”
Diddy was arrested in New York on Monday, September 16. The next day, a 14-page indictment that claimed Diddy “harassed, threatened and coerced women and others around him” was made public. The rapper has pleaded guilty to conspiracy, forced sex trafficking, fraud or coercion and trafficking in prostitution.
The lawsuit details “Freak Offs,” which were hotel room parties allegedly run by Diddy where women were forced to “participate in prolonged sexual acts with male sex workers.”
A New York judge denied Diddy bail on Tuesday, September 17, and he will remain in custody pending trial. He lost the appeal on Wednesday, September 18.
