Dave Ramsey announces his endorsement for president, delivering a message to those trying to unseat him

Financial expert, consultant and syndicated broadcaster Dave Ramsey has announced his endorsement of former President Trump – challenging listeners who disagree with him to try to cancel him.

“I look at ideas and which idea sits on which side of the aisle,” Ramsey said. “Where can I find a tax policy I like? Where can I find an immigration policy I like? Where can I find a foreign policy I like? Where can I find a gun My policy? My climate change policy?

“And I can check those boxes very, very quickly on the two candidates,” he said. “So I’ll tell you, I’m voting for Donald Trump. Because I checked those boxes and more of them are on this side than the other.”

Ramsey, CEO of Ramsey Solutions and radio host and host of “The Ramsey Show,” countered that some of his listeners may not listen to him again following his endorsement.

“Okay. I can deal with that. It’s been 30 years since that happened to me,” he said.

Others may try to dissuade him, Ramsey said, saying that will not happen because he owns the show.

People have threatened me that I will cancel it. It is difficult to do that because I am the owner of the program, so you cannot cancel me,” he said. “So you can go, but you can’t cancel me.”
