Daruwala will retire from Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered on Wednesday said its chief executive officer for India and South Asia, Zarin Daruwala, has decided to retire at the end of FY25. The veteran banker has been with the foreign lender since 2016.

Daruwala, who will turn 60 in February next year, has been working in the bank for 35 years. He joined StanC from ICICI Bank where he used to oversee the entire corporate credit function.
