Daniel Dubois wants to “stop” the victory over Oleksandr Usyk has been blowing up the British fighters, hitting one after the other and making it look easy. Usyk is 7-0 against the Brits and looks unbeatable right now.
Can Anyone Stop Usyk?
It’s probably not a good idea for Dubois to fight Usyk because he’s already lost to him once in the ninth round on August 26, 2023. A rematch loss would ruin the momentum he’s gained since that bad moment.
It would be wise for Dubois to focus on trying to get a rematch with Anthony Joshua because that could win, and it would pay off big.
IBF heavyweight champion Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) thinks he is the one to end the “luck” of former two-division champion Usyk.

I don’t know why it bothers Dubois that he is beating his own people because they can be defeated by other fighters if they are determined to face them. If you put Joshua or Fury in between Martin Bakole, they can be beaten as bad or worse than Usyk did.
Dubois: The Brits Last Hope?
“It’s time; someone has to stop him. When that time comes, I’ll be ready,” Daniel Dubois told BoxNation about Oleksandr Usyk beating all the British heavyweights. He was lucky last time.
“That was no small thing. You’ve never seen him hold his balls on the floor. You got lucky the last time. Next time, he won’t be so lucky. I will be ready for him. I confused him. I challenge him. I want to be unopposed and get all the belts. I have to go over Parker, but I want to be unopposed.
“It was a close fight. The last few rounds, he’s been holding it,” Dubois said of Usyk’s victory over Tyson Fury in their rematch on Dec. 21. “It’s going to be a big fight between me and them, Fury or Usyk. That’s my mindset right now.
“I have been a competitor for a long time. I am a champion, and I want to walk like a champion and not be tied down. I want to go through Usyk like a train,” said Dubois.
How Oleksandr ruled ‘King of the Gypsies; Tyson Fury last month in their rematch made it clear that he owns the UK fights and will continue to beat them until he is old.
Fury, 36, looked aged in the rematch with Usyk, and it was no surprise that he was beaten. The first fight took something out of him, leaving Usyk a worn-out fighter who met him last month. The spectacle Fury made of himself was pathetic, complaining in the post-fight press conference that he had won three rounds. There are no words to describe what a bitter, ugly game it is.
