Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Take 24,000 Steps on an Average Game Day
The famous performances of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders depend on their endurance and their iconic high kick.
According to the new squad profile on Voguepublished on Wednesday, November 27, the die-hard cheerleader tallied 24,000 steps after the Cowboys’ 34-10 loss to the Houston Texans on Monday, November 18.
“That won’t count the jump break,” another close-comedy leader of the surprising number.

The cheerleaders – who will take to the field on Thursday, November 28 in the annual Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game, this year against the New York Giants – increased significantly earlier this year with the release of the Netflix docuseries. America’s Sweethearts: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaderswhich was a problem for the broadcaster and has been renewed for a second season.
But their rising level of fame doesn’t mean they haven’t done their dirty work.
The team dedicates hours of practice before every home game at The Star, the Cowboys’ team headquarters in Frisco, Texas. From there, the cheerleaders all boarded a bus from Frisco to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, about a 37-mile trip.
Told a few of the strikers Vogue they do about two hours of makeup before boarding the bus, some reapply when they get to the stadium.
The team members all achieved the signature look of the Dallas Cowboys’ Cheerleaders, which Vogue described as “perfect for both the camera and the strong physical performance it deserves.”
The dancers are on tour two hours before kickoff, performing for the fans outside AT&T Stadium before descending to the sidelines for hours of non-stop movement during the game.
While the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have created an image of being innocent and flawless, there is a real bitterness when you pull back the curtain.

After an afternoon and evening on their feet, the singers boarded the bus – at 11:22 pm, this evening – for the long trip back to Frisco.
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will take part in the halftime show on Sunday, along with a national star Lainey Wilsonwhen the Cowboys face the Giants at 4:30 pm on Fox.
