Chris Martin he fell through a trap door while playing with Coldplay in Australia.

In video footage captured by fans attending the band’s show in Melbourne, Australia, on Sunday, November 3, Martin, 47, was seen backing off the stage at Marvel Stadium when he accidentally fell through a trap door.

Various videos captured the moment, including the singer, dressed in a blue shirt and pants, walking backwards as he began to read the fan signs he could detect in the audience.

When Martin’s foot reached the opening, his entire body seemed to run towards the underground before a member of the stage crew was able to catch Martin, preventing him from being seriously injured. Martin’s arms also reached the ground, which contributed to his break.
