Saturday Night Live‘s Chloe Fineman calls the previous host Elon Musk.
In a now-deleted TikTok video posted on Monday, November 11, Fineman said the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX made him cry while hosting an NBC sketch show in May 2021.
“Okay, I just saw some news article about Elon Musk talking about him It’s SNL and his opinion,” the comedian, 36, began the video, talking about Musk’s beating Dana Carveyhis opinion about himself on the Saturday, November 9, episode It’s SNL. (“It’s SNL it’s been dying slowly over the years, as it becomes more and more out of touch with reality,” Musk shared on X on Sunday, November 10.)
Fineman said in his video, “I’m going to come out and say, at the end of the day, I’m a cast member who made him cry and he’s a broadcaster who made someone cry.”

“I’d say, no, if you’re going to get on your platform and be green, guess what?” he continued. “You had me, Chloe Fineman, in tears because I was up all night writing a sketch, I was so excited, I walked in, I asked if you had any questions, and she looked at me like she was kicking me out of Tesla. And they were like, ‘It’s not funny.’ I’m waiting for you to be like, ‘Haha, JK.’ No. Then you started flipping through my text like, ‘I didn’t laugh once. Not once.'”
Fineman hosts a video that says, “Cut the diagram [that] continue [TV] and it was good and I had a really good time, and I thought you were funny about it, but have manners here, sir.”
