China’s spacecraft begins mission to space station
The Shenzhou 19 spacecraft blasted off from the Gobi Desert in northwest China.
The spacecraft takes three taikonauts – the Chinese word for astronauts – to the Tiangong space station.
In the next six months the taikonauts will make space journeys and conduct experiments, with the aim of gaining knowledge and wisdom to finally put a man on the Moon in 2030.
