The Grammy winner, 78, took the stage as the main musical guest at the Tuesday, October 15, event in New York City. Cher rocked a black ensemble with flared pants, a long sleeve corseted top. She paired the look with black boots as she performed a medley of her hits including “Believe” and “Strong Enough.”
The brand’s Instagram account announced Cher’s performance in a September post.
“It’s a woman’s world, so it goes without saying that you can’t have a fashion show without the fashion mom herself — @Cher!” the text is readable. “We are thrilled to announce that she will be officially performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 on October 15. K-pop singer Lisa and Grammy nominee Tyla were later included in the list of music artists for this year’s event, while Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Ashley Graham, Candice Swanepoel again Barbara Palvin they were among the top models during the show.

After restructuring the entire company, Victoria’s Secret confirmed in May that the fashion show will be held for the first time since 2018.
“We’ve read the comments and we’ve heard them,” the brand wrote via Instagram at the time. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back and will showcase who we are today, and everything you know and love — glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment and more! Stay tuned…it gets iconic from here. “
Victoria’s Secret’s changed focus is also reflected in the new brand value statement, released in August 2023.
“We have moved from promoting the idea of putting aside what is attractive to celebrating all women in all stages of their lives,” the statement read. “We will continue this mission and look to be an industry leader in retail innovation, fashion, sustainability and sustainable innovation – getting to the heart of what our diverse customers want.”
