Celebs React to Diddy’s Arrest and 14-Page Indictment

Celebrities are struggling following the recent arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The music star was arrested in New York on September 16. The next day, a 14-page indictment that claimed Diddy “harassed, threatened and coerced women and others around him” was made public. The rapper has pleaded guilty to conspiracy, forced sex trafficking, fraud or coercion and trafficking in prostitution.
A New York judge denied Diddy bail on September 17, and he will be held in custody pending his trial.
Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo insisted that Diddy is innocent in CNN’s interview Source And Kaitlan Collins.
“He is innocent. I believe you are innocent. I believe that he is innocent of the crimes,” he said in the September 17 episode. “He will go to court. And I believe he will win.”

Aubrey O’Day

The former member of Danity Kane, who has spoken publicly about Diddy in the past, appeared to react to the news of Diddy’s arrest on September 16.
“The purpose of justice is to provide closure and allow us space to build a new chapter,” he shared on his Instagram story. “Women never get this. I feel vindicated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me.”
The singer added: “Things are finally changing.”
Dawn Richard

A second former member of Danity Kane also spoke.
“We applaud grand jury Sean Combs’ new indictment, which is strikingly similar to the federal complaint we filed last week on behalf of our courageous client, Dawn Richard,” attorney. Lisa Bloom said the statement to Us Weekly on September 17. “Given the brutal beating of Sean Combs’ girlfriend that was captured on video and the eight people who have accused him of abuse in court papers, including Dawn, this arrest seems overdue.”
She previously filed a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of cheating, threatening and sexually assaulting her. Meanwhile, Diddy’s lawyer Erica Wolff issued a statement on his behalf.
“It is unfortunate that Ms. Richard threw away their 20-year friendship to try to get money from him,” it read in part. “Mr. Combs stands by the truth with confidence and looks forward to proving it in court.”
Foxy Brown

The rapper shared his thoughts on his Instagram Story, writing, “S— ’bout to get really crazy!!!” on September 17.
50 Cent

She was seen taking shots at Diddy on social media on September 17.
“Here I am with @thedrewbarrymoreshow and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube in the house,” the rapper captioned the photo. Drew Barrymore. The “lube” comment appears to be related to the “over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and grease” that Homeland Security seized from Diddy’s home during a raid last March, according to the lawsuits this week.
Charlamagne Tha God

The broadcaster talked about the alleged “Freak Offs” described in Diddy’s lawsuits at the time The Breakfast Club radio show on September 17. (“Freak Offs” were hotel room parties allegedly hosted by Diddy where women were forced to “participate in prolonged sexual acts with male prostitutes.”)
“If he commits crimes and sex trafficking for ‘unexpected things,’ there will be others involved.” Like if you ever run a train with Diddy, you’ll probably go to jail,” the comedian guessed. “If you are naked anywhere with Diddy or naked with Diddy and there are women around or men telling you that you are part of a party, you will probably be arrested.
‘The View’ Hosts

Whoopi Goldberg called Diddy’s 14-page lawsuit “massive and disturbing” during the Sept. 17 show. Sunny Hostin said Diddy was involved in “mob-like behavior,” referring to the indictment.
“They describe a criminal enterprise that involves the trafficking of minors on state roads for sex, and they call them ‘unexpected’,” he continued. “They raided his house and found 1,000 anointing containers. They raided his house and found drugs.”

The singer made a TikTok video reacting to the news of Diddy’s arrest using his song “TiK ToK” with new lyrics, which is a diss of Diddy. He released a new version at Coachella earlier this year. (The opening lyrics read, “Wake up in the morning and feel like P. Diddy.”)
“Get up early’ like, ‘F— P. Diddy,” the song says as Kesha holds up her middle finger to the camera and smiles before blowing it a kiss.

The Roc-A-Fella Records founder spoke to a photo that has surfaced of him attending a party hosted by Diddy with Jennifer Lopez again Jay-Z. “I didn’t go to those parties,” he said on Instagram Live on September 22. “I went to one in the Hamptons about 20 years ago with Aaliyah and that’s about it. But a lot of people were there, you know what I mean?”
The mogul continued: “It doesn’t happen in the Hamptons. That was the day I met [Aaliyah]. We stayed there and then we left. That was 20 years ago, that wasn’t in LA or Miami. I know they will play games with those pictures. It’s all good, I don’t really care.”
He went on to say that Diddy’s arrest was “sad” and “shocking,” adding, “People will sit there and watch people do things that might be immoral, but until they get caught, nobody says anything.” Whether it’s illegal or immoral for me to just come out, I don’t wait for people to blow up. I am not waiting for someone else to say that they are doing something wrong.”

The rapper-turned-actor spoke to TMZ about Diddy’s arrest on September 23. “From my perspective, I would say that you should always apologize if you’ve done something wrong in any way. You have to go to that person behind closed doors and try to fix it,” he said. “No one is flawless, but justice is always there. So you have to do your best part if you know you are messed up or dead, try to fix it. God forgives everything, but people, it is a little difficult for us to forgive. … We all make the bed we sleep in.”

Cuomo. “And this situation is very unfortunate, but it is important to learn the lesson now and make sure that the next generation understands how to go about it differently clearly and honestly.”

The singer shared his humorous reaction to the arrest on his Instagram Story. “Diddy’s about to kill everybody,” he wrote in late September, citing an AI-generated clip from the 1991 film. The new Jack City. In the edited version, Diddy’s face has changed Wesley Snipes in the famous courtroom scene where his character, Nino Brown, points out to his friends.

Williams said it was “about time” Diddy’s actions were exposed. He remembered seeing a video of Diddy beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie (real name Cassandra Ventura) is going around the internet, calling it “just bad.” (Cassie sued Diddy last year, accusing him of raping and abusing her during their relationship. They settled out of court in the fall of 2023.)
He saw seeing that video made him wonder, “But now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many other women? It’s just too bad.”
