CD Projekt Red confirms that it has recast Ciri’s voice actress for The Witcher 4

CD Projekt Red surprised us when they dropped a cinematic trailer Witch 4 at The Game Awards, introducing Ciri as a new character. Amidst all the excitement, some observant fans have also noticed that Geralt’s adopted daughter Rivia seems to be sounding very different than before, and not just ‘several years have passed’. In a statement to TheGamerCD Projekt Red has confirmed that Ciri has been recast. While previously portrayed by Jo Wyatt, Ciara Berkeley is taking over the role.

“Ciara Berkeley has been cast as Ciri Witch 4 Cinematic Reveal Trailer,” said a spokesperson for CD Projekt Red TheGamerand later added that Berkeley voices Ciri in the full game. “Ciara is a talented actress who impressed us with her passion and acting skills, and in this trailer we believe she brought Ciri to life in a way that is faithful to the character and pleasing to the fans of the series.” So there.
