Cassie’s Songwriter Remembers ‘Diddy Screaming’ And Singer Was On

Cassiesongwriter Tiffany Red he remembers the first time something felt “wrong” in the love of singer no Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Red, 37, told the story on Wednesday, October 9, at The Secret Life of Diddy — 20/20 Special on ABC. One night in 2015, Cassie, now 38, put Diddy on speaker phone and Tiffany heard the mogul. yelling at his girlfriend at the time asking who he was with.
“Is there anyone in the car with you?” Bomvu could hear Diddy saying. “I know someone is going with you in the car.”
Talking to 20/20Red said, “It was the first time I was, like, ‘Something’s not right.’”
And when Cassie (real name: Casandra Ventura) turned 29 in August 2015, Red said he saw Diddy burst into the singer and put him in a corner in a room with his bodyguards. Diddy got “in his face and he’s yelling at him,” Red recalled. “He was really mad, he was really close to his face and he was just hanging his head down.”
He added, “My sense was that everyone around him was afraid of him.”

“Cassie is sweet, she’s quiet, she’s a good person,” said Red 20/20‘s Diddy special, recalling how the Connecticut-born model was “introduced to the world by Diddy.”
At one point, the rapper asked Red, “Are you writing all these songs about me?” He felt scared, “like he doesn’t want to talk to me.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Diddy’s attorney for comment.
Diddy, 54, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he is awaiting trial on charges of fraud and sex trafficking.
He was arrested on Monday, September 16, after a grand jury indicted him following a series of sexual assault charges and a federal investigation. The 14-page lawsuit accuses Diddy of harassing, threatening and coercing women for years “in order to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and hide his behavior.”
Diddy has denied all the allegations against him and is pleading guilty.
On Wednesday, October 9, he said that the Department of Public Security leaked a newly discovered video of him beating Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. He accused the department of trying to “undermine” his “right to a fair trial.” He also filed a new motion for an evidentiary hearing in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
In May, CNN aired footage of Diddy grabbing Cassie by the neck, pushing, pulling and kicking her repeatedly. As it spreads on the Internet, his actions they were wide they are condemned.
Diddy later he apologized without mentioning Cassie by name, saying, “I was fed up. I mean I hit the ground running but I don’t make excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I am disgusted.”
