Cameron Diaz ‘Trying to Stay Alive Like All Mothers’

Cameron Diaz got real about what he was doing during the film’s 10-year hiatus – and parenthood is high on the list.

“I haven’t been doing any kind of training,” Diaz, 52, said of her break from Hollywood after the Netflix video. Back to Action released on Wednesday, January 15. “I did not do anything publicly. I said no to everything.”

The actress – whose first film in a decade drops on Netflix on Friday, January 17 – revealed that she started her own wine company, Avaline, while taking a break from acting.

“That’s what I was focusing on the most,” explained Diaz. “If I could do anything but be a mother and live my day to day.”
