A glitter queen’s dream!
In this week’s episode Us WeeklyBreaking Beauty series, editor-in-chief Crista Laqcua and me (assistant editor Grace Riley) tested Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Collagen Lip Bath Gloss.
The gloss comes in nine bright colors, from pale pink to brown, and retails for $35. Infused with Collagen and Vitamin A, the high-shine gloss plumps lips while keeping them hydrated.
“I’m obsessed with anything Charlotte Tilbury,” Crista said as she applied color to her pout in the shade of Pillow Talk Fair. “It’s magic in your face.”
After Crista swept the product onto her pout, she immediately gushed about how “big” it felt on her lips, and how little it felt. Although Crista liked the way the gloss looked on its own, she thought it would pair well with a brown or nude lipstick underneath to give it a “cherry cola” effect.
When I opened the gloss, I liked that the application brush had a soft heart shape that made it easy to line the lips. And it had good pigmentation in it, giving my lips a nice shade of pink.
Crista and I agreed that the gloss can be worn for any occasion – it’s not too overpowering to wear to the office, but it would also be great for a date night, brunch or night out.
