Already priced in by many analysts, the Federal Reserve unveiled a long-awaited interest rate cut on Wednesday. While the overall trend has been positive across gold, equities and other bullish assets, experts are weighing in on listed banks in the near term.

Remember that the easing cycle started after a long gap of four years. The last time the US economy turned to emergency rate reductions during the Covid period was on March 16, 2020 and the reduction of this scale which means 0.5 percent started on September 18, 2007.
