Season 10 Drama
During the first 10 seasons of Southern Charmthat aired in December 2024, Conover and Kroll had a heart-to-heart with Rose about her drinking problems. (Rose blacked out at BravoCon in the fall of 2023, causing a rift between him and his co-stars.)
While the three left the conversation as friends, Kroll admitted that he “totally disagrees with the way Craig sets boundaries, which is squarely hard.”
As the season progressed, Kroll and Conover butted heads. Kroll said during the January 2, 2025 episode, that Conover’s job is the only thing he cares about. “I miss you my friend. That’s where I come to you,” Kroll told Conover, saying that when he asked him to lunch, Conover always had an excuse not to come.
Kroll said when Conover “bailed for golf” with him — and instead spent his time in the garden and posted about it on social media — it felt like a “move” and that he “bailed out of friendship.”
Conover revealed, “That’s what makes me happy right now. Working and making money. ” He pointed out that they are good because they see each other doing their podcast. “If you are a true friend, you can be happy [for me],” Conover added.
Kroll said he is fine because Conover doesn’t drink anymore and doesn’t go to bars anymore, but he suspects that Conover won’t even come to his house. “I will never tell you how to live your life,” Conover shouted.
“I understand that times are changing,” Kroll told the cameras. “I feel like you’re keeping the friends you had here as you started to thrive, the friends you stay close to.”
