Amanda Bynes Shares Update on Weight Loss Journey, Reveals the Numbers
Amanda Bynes She has embarked on a weight loss journey and is willing to share her results.
Bynes, 38, took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, November 5, to share a screenshot of her step count for the day and how much weight she’s lost.
“Down 6lbs! 154lbs now 😱,” Bynes captioned the screenshot, which also revealed that she had burned “481/320 CAL” that day and walked 6.60 miles. 12.
As a result of the former child star’s fitness efforts, his workout goals for the day were officially met, confirmed by the big red circle shown at the top of the screenshot.
Bynes followed up an Instagram Story with a video of herself walking down the street wearing black sunglasses and a black beanie, appearing to give a glimpse of her fitness day’s success.
The health update comes after Bynes revealed in March that her mental health issues were contributing to her weight. Bynes shared the news on Instagram on March 28 that she “gained over 20 lbs” over the course of a few months, “due to stress.” She wrote, “I’m doing much better now and have learned to do the opposite when I don’t feel like exercising or eating clean.”
Bynes also revealed in the post that she weighed “162 lbs” at the time and wanted to “get back to 110 lbs.”
Less than four months earlier, the actress revealed that she underwent blepharoplasty to remove excess skin from her upper eyelids. (According to Mayo Clinicsurgery “can reduce or eliminate … vision problems,” and “can make eyes look fresh and alert.”)
“So I’ve seen a few stories online that I’ve got a new look,” Bynes began in a TikTok video posted on December 11, 2023. “And I’ve never been public about this before, but I actually had blepharoplasty. to wrap the corners of my eye so that I don’t have those skin shells anymore.”
He added at the time that he was happy with the results. “It was one of the best things I’ve ever done for my confidence, and it made me feel so much better in my own skin,” she told her TikTok followers. “I wanted to write about that just to clarify those rumors about why I look new. I feel so much better about myself now and I’m so glad I had blepharoplasty. It was one of the greatest things I have ever done.”
Bynes’ return to the social media spotlight comes after years of mental health issues. In August 2013, Bynes was placed under conservatorship for one month after being hospitalized and committed to a mental hospital for setting a fire on a street with a stranger.
