Adding a family member in your pond is a little complicated as aeroplan needs everyone in a shared pool to be identified by identity document. This is a little different for adults rather than children under 18.
To get started, go to your AeroPlan account and navigate your dashboard. There, you will see a link to aeroplan family sharing. Click “Start,” and read and accept the goals.
On the next page, enter the names of your family members, the Aeroplan numbers and your relationships. You can also choose which members of the rescue rights – for example, you may want to give these rights to your spouse but not your children.
Then click “Send.”
This will generate an email to each one you add. When that appears, family member should click “reply to the invitation” and enter their Aeroplan account. Their dashboard, you have to see a notification and click “Answer the invitation” to continue.
