He’s a comedian Nikki Glaser and her boyfriend, Chris Convyit has been on and off for ten years.
“I think that’s the way to go [because] I’m afraid to do anything forever,” Glaser said during his May 2024 appearance. The Howard Stern Show. “I think committing to something forever makes me think about other adventures. It’s just, admitting defeat. It’s weird.”
According to Glaser, she and Convy have broken up “about five times in ten years.”
“Our break went from maybe two days to three years,” he recalled. “He has broken up with me. At the beginning of our relationship, I think I wanted a boyfriend so badly, I misrepresented who I was. I thought that finding a boyfriend meant being allowed to do everything, not fighting [and] he never says, ‘I don’t like what you just said,’ because he would be like, ‘I am, bye.’

2013
Glaser and Convy met on the set of her MTV series, Nikki and Sara Bukhoma.
“It was my first TV show and he was a producer and he was from St. Louis, where I was from,” Glaser recalled during an October 2022 appearance. Seriously With Graham Bensinger. “I just stopped drinking alcohol, the year before that and I didn’t want to be in a relationship with people who drank too much.”
According to Glaser, at first he thought the Convy was cute but “too much fun.”
“It was like, a party where we all got together,” he added. “He was dancing and just happy and smiling. I said, ‘That boy is spoiled because how can he be like that?’ So, I just brushed him off, like, ‘No, not for me.’
When Glaser realized that Convy was also drunk, he was “crushed”.
“I just had a long-distance crush, which was really fun because I was always looking for him,” she said. “It was a lot of Jim and Pam [from The Office.] I was Jim and he didn’t know it. He was my first real boyfriend.”
Glaser previously mentioned Us Weekly in her 2022 article “25 Things You Dont Know About Me” that she had her first boyfriend at the age of 24.

2016
Convy continued to work with Glaser, producing his own show for one season It’s Not Safe With Nikki Glaser on Comedy Central. At the same time that the show was canceled after one season, they broke up.
2020
During the coronavirus pandemic, Glaser returned to his hometown of St. Louis and sold his documents Welcome Home Nikki Glaser of e! the network. While the TV host first presented it as a dating game, he later began seeing Convy off-camera as well.
“I love it [wanted] dating someone who will be on camera with me,” she said Graham Bensinger in 2022, then revealed what he told Convy. “I’m going to keep seeing you privately, but I have to be cool with the show unless you want to take pictures and you’re like, ‘I’m going to do it.’”
Glaser called Convy’s willingness to reveal their relationship “a change” because it showed how much he loved her.
“You want to, like, share something together, so it was all these things,” he added. “Then I started doing things that were difficult for me to do, such as giving him his time.”
2022
When Glaser sat down with Bensinger, he confirmed that he and Convy had broken up briefly that September.
“The last month was like a ‘do or die’ situation, where it was like, ‘What are we doing? Where is this leading me?’” he added. “We never talked about marriage. We both signed nine years ago as people who did not want to get married, who did not want to have children, but now he is 40 years old. [and] I’m almost 30 years old. What are we doing? Our priorities have changed, and so have our goals.”
2024
Glaser provided more insight into their relationship on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Shownoting that they had previously split over his confession on the podcast.
Not because I thought he wouldn’t feel it, but they’ll just disguise it as ‘jokes!’” he said. “He finally heard them and said, ‘I don’t know this person.’ … He had every reason to break up with me because it was confusing because I was lying all the time. You really stopped me from lying, I’m better now. I’m not perfect about it because I’m still afraid of rejection, so there are problems in our relationship when I’m afraid he’ll be angry with me.”
