The couple met while in college at Michigan State University and announced their engagement in February 2023. They tied the knot in May 2024 after eight years of dating.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration,” said Scott, who is the rapper’s daughter Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Scott, shared an Instagram post after their wedding. “So many tears of joy were cried, there was laughter and smiles, and great love was felt. Evan and I feel very grateful for all the family and friends who have come to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.”
About five months after “I Do,” Hailie announced her pregnancy in her father’s music video for her song “Temporary,” which was released in October 2024.

Hailie announced her engagement to McClintock via social media.
“Casual weekend recap… 😭💗2.4.23 💍i love you @evanmcclintock11,” she wrote on Instagram alongside photos of them popping champagne and showing off her wedding ring.
McClintock later shared that she asked Scott’s father, Eminem, for permission to marry Scott.
“I saw your father coming down again [thought]’Okay. I have to do it right now or I don’t do it today. I’ll have to schedule another time,’” he said during an appearance on Scott’s “Just Shady” podcast. “So, I just followed him down and thank goodness, he was just down there, holding yours [birthday] cake.”

Hailie announced that she and McClintock were expecting their first child in Eminem’s “Temporary” music video — and later took to social media to share the happy news.
“Mom and dad est. 2025,” she wrote on Instagram alongside photos of the two of them with their sonogram.
Hailie later revealed that her friend and podcast producer, Brittany Edneyshe hid her pregnancy at her wedding in May.
“People didn’t know she was pregnant,” Ednie said in an October 2024 podcast episode. “So, you know, taking a drink, not drinking a drink like a good parent. Whenever people answered, he’d give me his drink, and I’d slurp it to make it look like he’d been drinking continuously that night.”
Hailie praised Ednie for helping her that night.
“Brittany was taking it for one team,” Hailie said. “I never really asked you to do it. It was like, something that could not be said with our eyes.”
