Chiara Aurelia of Hysteria Has Gremlin Pictures of Julie Bowen’s Possession

Chiara Aurelia he loved to testify Julie Bowen‘s possession transformation in Hysteria! – and he has the photos to prove it.
“It’s been a big change for him,” Aurelia, 22, said to herself Us Weekly before the start of Peacock’s show on Friday, October 18. “I have the most painful pictures of him on my phone.”
Aurelia praised Bowen, 54, for stepping out of her comfort zone, adding, “People call her America’s mom. He is very iconic [actress] after Modern Family. She is beautiful, funny, bright, spirited and a beautiful lady. So it was really fun to see him in a character like this.”
Linda’s role felt like Bowen’s departure. “I had never seen him do something like that before,” Aurelia commented. “I think you had a great time. Obviously it’s emotionally draining and challenging, but in the end I think we all had a lot of fun.”
Set in the 1980s, Hysteria! concerns the Satanic Genius of the time as a high school heavy metal band realizes that they can take advantage of the town’s sudden rise in occultism by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band. The show doesn’t go as expected when a strange series of murders, kidnappings and reported supernatural activities start a witch hunt that leads right back to them.

THE DEMONBowen plays Linda — Dylan’s (Jay Anthony) mother — who begins to worry that her son is interested in the devil before the evil thing begins to haunt and haunt him. The show doesn’t immediately reveal that Linda was actually possessed by a demon or that there was another explanation, which Bowen didn’t worry about when filming the scenes.
“There, the creator Matthew Scott Kane the first time he contacted me to say, ‘We’d like you to do this,’ I had only seen the pilot. So I wasn’t sure where the character was going. It was his description of a woman who doubts her sanity and how we can get into that place,” said Bowen. Us. “We can all live in a bubble and get our information from the bubble. It’s really good to show that in a small isolated town in the 1980s where everyone just got their news from the local news station and how the chaos of one news source can easily drive you crazy.”

Mark Hill/PeacockBowen was thrilled to have such a realistic vision, adding, “This vision of a woman who doesn’t know what she really is. I feel that way all the time. … I didn’t know [the answers] while we were shooting episode by episode. I make assumptions [and] I had to go through the brainstorming and Linda saying “Is this true? Isn’t this true?” Instead of letting that frustrate me, I said, “Oh, great. He also doesn’t know why we are in the same place.”
After more than ten years of playing Us‘Mom’s favorite TV is on Modern FamilyBowen was excited to try something new – and defy expectations.
“It’s funny because I’m afraid of scary things and shrinking things. I can’t watch those things. But I had a great run on Modern Family for 11 years and the truth is that America sees me as a mother,” she noted. “The way I can change the way they see what kind of mother I am – or what kind of actress I can be – is to change their expectations and share it.”
The actress was happy to “do something different,” saying, “When you’re tied up in something and you don’t look that good, it’s liberating.” You don’t think about how you look. He’s totally into it.”

Mark Hill/PEACOCKAurelia, on the other hand, has a similar interest in horror projects. Before Hysteria!played a Netflix song Fear Street trilogy and was told Us that there is “too much to like” when it comes to genre.
“I’ve done a lot of horror, but I think each character I’ve done is very different. So it’s a great honor that they keep accepting me and letting me do scary things,” she said. “There are many different things I want to do and I am very grateful for acting. That’s what I love and feel passionate about. So I think there are a lot of characters and minds and stories and people that I would like to work with and hopefully in the course of my career I can do it all. But for now, I’m enjoying the scary place.”
