While Kenan and Reitman The Ghostbusters the movies weren’t flops, they didn’t meet the financial expectations of a big, beloved franchise. After death, including new actors Paul Rudd, McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, and Carrie Coon grossed $204 million on a $75 million budget. The latest sequel, Frozen Empire, added Patton Oswalt, James Acaster, Kumail Nanjianai, and Emily Alan Lind earned an additional $201 million on a significantly increased budget of $100 million.
