Before her womb became pregnant with Mack, Erin found out that she had lost two of her embryos.

“It’s crazy, because when you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the trip again, the PTSD comes back all over again, the way you were feeling, that your body goes numb, the fear of losing,” she said. said.

Andrews also said her husband, 42, also went through his own emotional journey during the process. He added that listening to him talk about his feelings helped him too.

“Sometimes men don’t want to talk about these things, but they also feel the feelings,” said Andrews. “My husband was really nice after we got laid more times than the heat, I just said, ‘This is amazing. This is just not good. I feel really crazy, and I feel like a failure,’ and that helped a lot as well.”
