Puregold Pusong Panalo: The power to do good in rural communities

Puregold Price Club, Inc. reinforces its commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development through its social responsibility program, Puresong Panalo. The multi-channel retailer extended support to Laiban Elementary School in Tanay, Rizal. This latest effort marks an important step in Puregold’s ongoing mission to improve lives and promote development in rural areas.
The Pusong Panalo program, known for its community-oriented approach to recovery, brought significant changes to Laiban Elementary School. Puregold installed solar panels on the school, ensuring a sustainable and reliable energy source that will benefit students and faculty for years to come. The project also included the construction of a new playground and the re-filling of the canteen, providing students with a complete and enjoyable learning environment.
In addition, this seller donated new laptops to the school’s teachers, addressing the growing need for technology tools in education. Both students and teachers also received shopping bags for their families.
“Puregold believes that education is a powerful tool that can change lives,” said Ferdinand Vincent Co, President of Puregold Price Club, Inc. “It is an honor to partner with these communities and help provide the tools students and teachers need to succeed,” added Vincent.
Laiban Elementary School is located in a remote and mountainous area in Tanay, Rizal, and has limited access to services and infrastructure. With the support of Puregold, the school is now better equipped to meet the needs of its students and staff.

As part of its long-term vision, Puregold pledges to extend its support to 30 remote schools by 2028. Puregold plans to help four more schools by 2024. To pay it forward, Laiban Elementary School has nominated another school in Tanay to receive. more solar panels, a new learning center, and upgraded luxury rooms.
