Mamie Laverock thanks fans after reuniting with ‘When Calls the Heart’ cast amid fall recovery

Hallmark star Mamie Laverock shared a message of gratitude to her fans as she continues her recovery after falling five stories from a hospital balcony in May.

In a short video he shared on his official Facebook page on Thursday, the 20-year-old “When It Calls the Heart” the actress, who returned from the hospital in August, thanked her fans for their letters of support.

“Thank you guys so much for these beautiful cards,” said Laverock, who was seen lying in bed.

“There are so many, and I really like them all,” he added, holding up a pile of cards and smiling. “Thank you.”

Laverock starred as student nurse Rosaleen Sullivan for three seasons on “When Calls the Heart.”

Earlier in the week, Laverock shared a photo where he was seen hanging out with his co-stars from the show, including Erin Krakow, Jack Wagner, Kevin McGarry, Andrea Brooks, Kavan Smith, Pascale Hutton and Chris McNally.

In the photo, which was taken at Hallmark’s Hearties Family Reunion event in September, Laverock was seen using a walker and making heart signs with his hands as he posed with other cast members.

“At the end of every rainbow there is a pot of gold,” he captioned a photo he posted on Facebook on Tuesday.

“Returning to the warm glow of the When Calls The Heart reunion,” added Laverock. “I love you.”

Laverock also shared Wagner’s post with the same image. “A picture is worth a 1000 words!” Wagner captioned it with 100 emojis and a red heart.

“I have endless love for all the actors. Thank you so much,” Laverock commented on the post.

The actor was put on life support after falling from a balcony a few weeks after suffering an undisclosed “emergency,” according to a GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign launched in May.

On his GoFundMe page in June, his family wrote, “His body is broken. He had two 11-hour surgeries with two doctors helping him, a three-hour surgery and another surgery today. Nothing but thanks to the doctors and nurses who have been exemplary in his care since May 26.”

They added that Laverock was “enduring a lot of pain.”

“We can hold on to the miracles of each day and continue to thank everyone for their prayers and marvel at the wonders of his story,” they shared online. “Our daughter loves her life and she loves her family and she fights hard every day.”

Laverock celebrated the historic moment months after the collapse. The actor was seen standing and walking in a video posted on Facebook in early August.

“Thank you surgeon, thank you prayers, thank you Lord. Mamie just took her first steps,” captioned the clip.

Laverock had been in intensive care for two weeks before the fall, and “was taken from a safe area of ​​the hospital to a balcony where he fell five stories.”

“He’s badly injured, he’s had multiple surgeries, and right now he’s on the mend,” his parents, Nicole and Rob Compton, previously shared online.

Laverock’s family celebrated his return to hospital with an August update on his Facebook page.

“Dreams do come true,” the post read. “Welcome home Mamie.”

The post featured a photo of the actor’s cake and a sign that read, “Home Sweet Home.”
