Israel is joining other brigades in the fight against Hezbollah

The Israeli army has mobilized four more reserve brigades after launching its ground offensive against Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.

“This will lead to continued operations against the terrorist organization Hezbollah,” the Israeli military said.

The Israeli army usually consists of several thousand soldiers.

The force said it is currently fighting Hezbollah in neighboring Lebanon to destroy its infrastructure and weaken the Iran-backed group, pushing it back across the border.

Israeli forces will not advance to Beirut or any other city in southern Lebanon, emphasized military spokesman Daniel Hagari.

The army said the ground work, reserved for the border villages, would be completed as soon as possible.

One of the main objectives of this project is to enable the 60,000 displaced residents of northern Israel to return to their homes.
